Please mark your calendars for October 13 at 1:00 p.m. for a virtual Dean’s Workshop addressing health equity research at Yale.
This workshop introduces our new Office for Health Equity Research. Its focus is to present the breadth of our programs, available resources, and opportunities for collaboration in health equity research. The workshop will highlight long-standing community partnerships, priorities, and strengths within Yale University and beyond, with a focus on the value of working collaboratively in multidisciplinary groups across boundaries to address the toughest problems.
Our community is committed to promoting health and health care equity. This workshop and the appointment of Marcella Nunez-Smith, MD, MHS, as the inaugural associate dean and director of the office, will allow us to address creatively critical topics in health equity research.
Please watch for updates, including the final program. As with previous workshops, we will also provide an online response thread for your ideas and questions.
