Each year we rely on your collective efforts during Second Look to recruit the most promising MD and MD-PhD students to Yale School of Medicine. We are writing to inform you that YSM Second Look 2020 will now be virtual—select events will be held online during the originally planned dates, March 26-27, 2020. We are also requesting your help with post-Second Look recruitment.
It is extremely important that admitted students get a sense for the YSM community and campus life as they make their decision regarding medical school. The strength of the interactions and engagement with faculty, staff, and students remain a primary reason why admitted students choose YSM. Our virtual Second Look programming and planned communications will offer admitted students the opportunity to learn more about YSM, the curriculum, community, important academic opportunities, financial aid, and more. In addition, these extraordinary circumstances also present us with a unique opportunity to come together as a community of faculty and students to actively participate in recruiting these admitted students to the Class of 2024 and to give them a first-hand look at the strength of our community.

The form will allow you to enter your name, email, phone, and other relevant details. Once the information is collected, the Office of Admissions will share your information, including brief bios, and details requested in the form above, with admitted students. Admitted students will be encouraged to reach out to any current faculty/students with whom they are interested in connecting, and make plans to communicate (email, phone call, video chat) at a mutually convenient time.
