"Physician Assistants: Collaboration and Care," A Banner Exhibit at the Medical Library Through Dec. 20

November 07, 2019

"Physician Assistants: Collaboration and Care," which celebrates a half century of the PA profession, is an exhibit that has been traveling across the country since 2017, and will continue traveling until 2021. It is installed at the entrance to the John Hay Whitney/Harvey Cushing Medical Library through December 20.

The Physician Assistant History Society and the National Library of Medicine created this six-banner exhibit, which shows how the profession developed and how it continues to evolve today. PA programs, hospitals, medical libraries, and public libraries were eligible to apply to host the exhibit and, in 2017, YSM’s Physician Associate Program submitted its application to host.
