Yale School of Medicine has been recognized as an Apple Distinguished School for 2021-2024. The school received this award for its continuous innovation in learning and teaching, including its use of mobile device technology to enhance pre-clerkship curriculum delivery and enrich clinical training.

“We are honored and excited by this recognition of the Yale School of Medicine’s commitment to educational innovation, the effective application of technology, and the use of mobile devices in the delivery of our curriculum and in support of student learning,” says Michael Schwartz, PhD, associate dean for curriculum and inaugural director of innovation in medical education. Schwartz adds, “this citation would not have been possible without the extraordinary commitment and creativity of our faculty and staff.”
