Emilia Favuzzi, PhD, assistant professor of neuroscience, has been selected to join the 2026 class of Beckman Young Investigator Awardees. Presented by the Arnold and Mabel Beckman Foundation, the awards support promising young faculty members in the early stage of their academic careers in the chemical and life sciences, fostering the invention of methods, instruments, and materials that will open new avenues of scientific research. Favuzzi will receive $600,000 over four years to support her project “Circuit-level neuroscience methods for immune system control.”
