Biography
Dr. Peng is a vascular neurologist at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He received his MD from Boston University School of Medicine in 2017, where he was awarded the CONACYT education scholarship from the Mexican Government, the APS-SPR summer research scholarship and travel award, and the AAN Medical Student Excellence award. He then completed an internship in internal medicine at UMass Medical Center in 2018, where he received the intern of the year award. Dr. Peng completed a neurology residency and vascular neurology fellowship at Yale-New Haven Hospital where he was chief resident. He is currently a StrokeNet research fellow and an attending physician caring for patients with a wide range neurological diseases. He is an advocate of medical education and his research interests include the treatment and outcomes of neurovascular diseases such as ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke.
