Research & Publications
I completed a Neurology residency program in 1997 and a clinical neurophysiology program in 1998 at the Yale School of Medicine. I have worked in a laboratory setting for a number of years developing novel anesthetic compounds. I also designed new technologies of in vivo electrophysiological recordings for rat peripheral nerve and spinal cord. Since 2010, I have created a neurotoxin injection program at the West Haven VA focusing on off-label uses of botulinum toxins and other compounds in the treatment of chronic pain syndromes. I train 1-2 fellows every year in both the clinical realm and in research.
