Friday, March 21 – YES! “Educational Scholarship: Expanding Beyond Curriculum Development” with Melissa Langhan, MD, MHS & Donna Windish, MD, MPH
This interactive session is designed to help those looking to expand their educational scholarship to areas other than curriculum development. We will have an interactive session reviewing other scholarship types including examples produced at Yale and beyond. Participants will leave the session with abstracts and links to scholarship types discussed.
Thursday, March 27 – MEDG: “'See You Next Time!' Learning to Be a Physician through Longitudinal, Integrated Relationships” with Elizabeth Gaufberg, MD, MPH, Associate Professor of Medicine and Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School
Using the Harvard Medical School Cambridge Integrated Clerkship as a case example, we will explore the rationale, experiences and outcomes of longitudinal integrated clerkship models of medical education. A special focus will be on professional identity formation and maintaining health professional boundaries in a highly relational curriculum.
