The MyYSM intranet now features a new AI chat assistant, Ask YSM, to help you find Yale School of Medicine resources, services, and other information. Whether you're looking for research support, faculty professional development programs, administrative services, or other resources, Ask YSM can help point you to the right place.
As a new feature in its early stages, Ask YSM will continue to be refined over time. Your feedback will help improve its performance and ensure it meets the needs of the YSM community. You can quickly share your thoughts using the thumbs up or thumbs down feature or by leaving a comment.
How to Access the Tool
Click the blue chat icon in the lower-right corner of any MyYSM page and log in with your Yale credentials. For the best results, use plain language and be as specific as possible. For example, “How do I get a headshot for my profile?” is more effective than “photos.”
Please note that Ask YSM references only publicly available YSM webpages and does not access protected pages that require login credentials. As with other AI tools, responses may occasionally be incomplete or out of date, so you should review linked sources to verify information.
