Donna LaPaglia, PsyD, ABPP, associate professor of psychiatry, has been awarded the Ivan Mensh Award from the Association of Psychologists in Academic Health Centers (APAHC).
The award, for distinguished achievement in teaching, recognizes outstanding psychologists who work in and conduct innovative teaching and training in medical school and health care settings. It was presented at the APAHC biennial conference in St. Petersburg, Fla, May 1-3.
APAHC is a section of the American Psychological Association’s Society of Clinical Psychology.
LaPaglia is director of the Substance Abuse Treatment Unit and associate director of addiction services at the Connecticut Mental Health Center.
