Emilia Favuzzi, PhD, assistant professor in the Department of Neuroscience and Yale’s Wu Tsai Institute, won the Klingenstein Fellowship Award in Neuroscience, presented by Klingenstein Philanthropies to support early career investigators engaged in basic or clinical research that may lead to a better understanding of neurological and psychiatric disorders. Favuzzi’s project, titled “Neural basis of predictive regulation of immune function,” explores how the brain learns and anticipates immune responses.
