“Precision Medicine: How much Omics is enough?”

Michael Olivier, PhD, will present “Precision Medicine: How much Omics is enough?”

Dr. Olivier is the director of the Center for Precision Medicine and professor of molecular medicine at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. His research has combined technology development in genomics and proteomics with biomedical applications, primarily focused on complex human disorders such as obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and other age-related health complications. He obtained his undergraduate training and MS degree in chemistry at the University of Cologne in Germany and completed his PhD in physiology and molecular genetics at Cornell University.
