YaleNew (serif)

YaleNew is Yale's primary serif typeface, with decorative 'feet' that make it both elegant and extremely readable. It was designed by Matthew Carter specifically for the university.
Members of the Yale community can download it here.
In instances where YaleNew cannot be used, Georgia is an appropriate substitution.
Mallory (sans serif)

Mallory is Yale's primary sans serif font. It has clean, even lines, without the decorative 'feet' that are part of its serif counterpart, YaleNew. Information on how to obtain this font can be found on the Yale Identity website.
In instances where Mallory cannot be used, Arial is an appropriate substitution.
