Michelle McQueen

Michelle is the Communications Officer for Yale's Office of Cooperative Research. She joins OCR after existing DavEllePR, a boutique public relations firm she co-founded in 2009 and co-ran until 2019. There, Michelle managed results-driven communication programs for brands and experts in the biotech/healthcare, consumer product, non-profit and business industries. Her core competencies include media relations’ program development and execution, red carpet event and conference coordination, strategic marketing and byline and thought-leadership writing. Before co-founding DavEllePR, Michelle worked for public relations firm, Abelson Group, spearheading their international media relations efforts. Prior to that position, Michelle was with MWW Group, where she executed comprehensive PR programs for brands including 1-800-Flowers.com, Samsung and McDonald’s. Michelle has received praise for her communications skills in publications like Bulldog Reporter, PR Week and AOL.com. She has also been a guest lecturer at New York University.

Michelle is a cum laude graduate of Hofstra University, and lives in Connecticut with her husband and two kids.
