Panelists: Dr. Carolyn Mazure is the Norma Weinberg Spungen and Joan Lebson Bildner Professor in Women's Health Research, and Professor of Psychiatry and Psychology at Yale School of Medicine. She created and directs Women's Health Research at Yale, which launches laboratory and clinical studies that advance the health of women and uncover sex-and-gender differences that influence health outcomes. Dr. Erica Spatz is a cardiologist, clinical investigator at the Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation, and a WHRY investigator. She focuses on the development of individualized approaches to preventing and managing cardiovascular disease, along with tools to help patients become more active in their health care decisions. Dr. Samit Shah is an interventional cardiologist specializing in coronary and peripheral vascular interventions and a WHRY investigator. His research focuses on the outcomes of cardiovascular interventions, invasive testing, ischemic heart disease in women, and the vascular effects of psychological stress. |
