Five Yale Psychiatry faculty receive appointments to ACNP

Five Yale Department of Psychiatry faculty received appointments December 9 in the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ACNP).

The announcements were made at the organization’s 54th annual meeting in Hollywood, Fla. ACNP is the worlds’ leading translational neuroscience organization.

Stephanie O’Malley, PhD, Professor of Psychiatry and Deputy Chair for Clinical Research, was promoted to fellow in ACNP. Also promoted to fellowship was Graeme Mason, PhD, Professor of Psychiatry, Radiology and Biomedical Imaging, and Director of Psychiatric MRS.

Elected to membership in ACNP were Kimberly Yonkers, MD, Professor of Psychiatry; and Robert Malison, MD, Professor of Psychiatry, Director of the Clinical Neuroscience Research Unit and Director of the Neuroscience Research Training Program.

Albert Arias, MD, MS, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, was elected to associate membership.
