  • 00:00Welcome to a guided healing touch meditation.
  • 00:05My name is Roberta Brown.
  • 00:08I'm a registered nurse and certified
  • 00:11healing touch practitioner and
  • 00:13instructor at Greenwich Hospital, Anaya.
  • 00:16Coordinate the Integrative Medicine
  • 00:19and healing touch programs.
  • 00:22Healing touch is a gentle energy
  • 00:25therapy that works to bring harmony and
  • 00:28balance into the human energy system.
  • 00:31Healing touch benefits include
  • 00:34reducing pain and lessening
  • 00:37anxiety or fear before a procedure.
  • 00:41Reducing stress.
  • 00:43Promotes healing and the body
  • 00:46has its own innate healing.
  • 00:49So when we allow our body to relax,
  • 00:53the body can heal itself.
  • 00:56Healing touch his heart centered.
  • 01:01And it focuses on our physical, emotional,
  • 01:05mental and spiritual well being and healing.
  • 01:09So today I'm going to guide you
  • 01:12through the minor and major choppers of
  • 01:15the body. The miners are in the legs,
  • 01:19in the arms and the major chakras
  • 01:22or energy centers are along
  • 01:24the spinal column.
  • 01:26And there actually along
  • 01:27nerve plexuses So this is
  • 01:31for your self care. And before we begin,
  • 01:35I invite you to take some graphs to
  • 01:39come inside to quiet the mind and
  • 01:42become aware of how you can rest
  • 01:46in the awareness of your breath.
  • 01:54So when we center.
  • 01:56And focus inside where the wisdom lies.
  • 02:00We allow ourselves to come into
  • 02:02the heart space and also to get
  • 02:04grounded into the soles of the feet,
  • 02:08feeling a connection to the Earth.
  • 02:11And imagine that there's
  • 02:13light from above from the
  • 02:15heavens. That allows that to come
  • 02:18through the top of your head,
  • 02:20down through the whole body,
  • 02:22down to the soles of the feet
  • 02:24where you connect to the Earth.
  • 02:27I invite you to either close your
  • 02:30eyes or have a swap gaze downward.
  • 02:33And I will be keeping my eyes open
  • 02:37during this self guided meditation.
  • 02:40So to begin by placing your
  • 02:42hand on the soul and the top of
  • 02:46the foot to open up the foot,
  • 02:49energy center,
  • 02:50breathing in and breathing
  • 02:53out allowing any sensations of
  • 02:55warmth or pulsation to be felt.
  • 03:02And gently begin to move
  • 03:04up the body beginning with
  • 03:07the knee and the ankle.
  • 03:10Normally by staying these positions for 30.

  • 03:17feel a sense of the energy flowing.

  • 03:37balancing the entire leg.
  • 03:41Allowing that foot to come to the ground,
  • 03:45lifting the other foot,
  • 03:47placing the hand on the soul and
  • 03:50the other hand on the top again,
  • 03:53opening up the foot chakra or
  • 03:56energy center to allow anything
  • 03:58that's no longer needed to
  • 04:00be released down and out.
  • 04:03Any tension on the Exhale
  • 04:05can be released down and out, moving the
  • 04:08upper hand to believe.
  • 04:10And the lower hand to the ankle
  • 04:13in the chocolate. in French.
  • 04:17You can breathe in unconditional love
  • 04:22for yourself and light from above.
  • 04:26Only the lower hand to me,
  • 04:28and the upper hand to the head.
  • 04:32Breathing in peace.

  • 04:56chachra is the root chopper.
  • 04:59We place our hand above the knee
  • 05:02and the root chakra spins downward
  • 05:05towards the earth. Place the other
  • 05:07hand above the pubic bone below
  • 05:10the navel. At the Sacral Center.
  • 05:15The root. Chakra connects us,
  • 05:18as I said to the earth and
  • 05:21gives us a sense of being safe.
  • 05:24And stable and grounded.
  • 05:27And we trust our physical body.
  • 05:31And the gland that's associated with
  • 05:34the root Chakra is the adrenal glands.
  • 05:38Sitting on top of the kidneys.
  • 05:42Again, opening connecting an
  • 05:45balancing the lower physical choppers.
  • 05:49Reading in the color red,
  • 05:51which is the vibration of the
  • 05:54root chakra breathing out red?
  • 05:59Letting that NRG rest and then
  • 06:02moving the hand to the sacral and
  • 06:05the solar plexus as you bathe the
  • 06:09lower abdomen in the color orange
  • 06:12misses are Center for our emotions,
  • 06:15our sexuality and our relationships.
  • 06:18So breathing in Orange.
  • 06:21Leaving out lounge.
  • 06:25In the glands other reproductive glands.
  • 06:28Moving the lower hand to the
  • 06:31solar plexus and the
  • 06:33slide, the hand to the left lower
  • 06:37ribs where the spleen resides.
  • 06:40Greed in the upper upper abdomen.
  • 06:43The color yellow.
  • 06:44Read out the color yellow.
  • 06:47This is our Center for our personal
  • 06:50power and where our thoughts reside.
  • 06:54Allowing the sensation of yellow.
  • 07:00The color of the vibration on
  • 07:03the yellow to come in and out.
  • 07:06The gland is the pancreas.
  • 07:11And then it bring your
  • 07:12attention to the spleen,
  • 07:13which is a minor Chopra.
  • 07:15And this is helpful in our new system.
  • 07:20Screening in
  • 07:22yellow breathing LVL. Keeping the hand
  • 07:25on the solar plexus,
  • 07:27bring the hand to the heart. Since
  • 07:31our Center for unconditional love
  • 07:34and compassion and gratitude.
  • 07:36Reading in allowing the heart to open and
  • 07:41expand. Breathing in the color
  • 07:44green. Breathing out green.
  • 07:49And we move up to the finest gland and
  • 07:53the other hand goes on to the heart.
  • 07:57The thymus gland is important in our
  • 08:00immune system, breathing in Green.
  • 08:04Everything else in vibration agree.
  • 08:08Noticing if the energy is flowing freely
  • 08:11and once you feel that it's falling freely,
  • 08:15we can move on to the next area.
  • 08:18The arms are are connected to our
  • 08:21heart there an extension of our
  • 08:24heart so we bring our hands to a
  • 08:28small circle resting on the wrists.
  • 08:33Connecting Firearms in
  • 08:36our heart. Being grateful
  • 08:38for all that we give with
  • 08:41our hands. Resting in the elbows.
  • 08:48Opening, connecting in balancing the
  • 08:51minor chakras or energy centers.
  • 08:56Moving up to
  • 08:57the shoulders, giving yourself a hug.
  • 09:03Breathing in peace. Freezing out com.
  • 09:11And now we return to the
  • 09:13Thymus and go to the throat.
  • 09:16And the throat is the color Sky blue.
  • 09:19And so Center for speaking our
  • 09:22truth and expressing
  • 09:24our authentic self. So breathing in
  • 09:27the vibration of blue. Breathing out room.
  • 09:33And the gland is the thyroid gland,
  • 09:35which has many functions in the body.
  • 09:40Slowly moving from the throat to
  • 09:43the third eye or the row right
  • 09:47in the center of the eyebrows.
  • 09:50SAR Center for Innervision.
  • 09:52An inner knowing an intuition.
  • 09:55The color is indigo.
  • 09:57The color of the night Sky.
  • 10:01But the two, A Terry,
  • 10:02is the gland nestled deep in the brain.
  • 10:06Mary Parton bra endocrine system.
  • 10:11Moving ahead lower hand to the third
  • 10:13eye in the upper hand to the Crown.
  • 10:16Breathing in the colour violent.
  • 10:20Violent opens up like 1000 Petalled Lotus.
  • 10:24Opens up skyward,
  • 10:26connects us to our spiritual nature,
  • 10:30are higher self.
  • 10:34Or higher wisdom.
  • 10:37The gland is the pinyo gland,
  • 10:40also nestled deep in the brain
  • 10:42which secretes melatonin,
  • 10:43which helps us sleep at night.
  • 10:48Connecting to the Crown and a
  • 10:52transpersonal point, which is
  • 10:54the palm facing upwards skyward.
  • 10:58This connects us to all that there is
  • 11:01to something greater than you were I.
  • 11:03However, you see that.
  • 11:10Resting in the awareness of breath
  • 11:13flowing in and flowing out.
  • 11:16Gently bring your hands
  • 11:18and rest them on your lap.
  • 11:23I invite you to bring your
  • 11:26attention to the soles of your feet,
  • 11:29connecting again to the earth,
  • 11:31energy that light and love,
  • 11:33breathing that up through the soles
  • 11:35of the feet, up through the legs.
  • 11:39Perhaps? Pelvis Into the belly. Up
  • 11:44into the torso. Into the
  • 11:47neck. Up through the top of
  • 11:50your head with all the rainbow
  • 11:53colors like a fountain streaming
  • 11:56down around your entire body.
  • 11:59Which we call the energy field
  • 12:02or the biofield which is about
  • 12:053 feet outside around the body.
  • 12:08And imagine that it's egg shape
  • 12:12and it's protecting you with this
  • 12:16seal of energy. Of light energy.
  • 12:20So that these rainbow colors with
  • 12:23each breath coming up through the
  • 12:25feet up through the entire body.
  • 12:27Up like a fountain around down
  • 12:31your whole being feeling a sense
  • 12:34of protection. And healing.
  • 12:43So I invite you to practice this
  • 12:46on a daily basis. Whenever you
  • 12:49begin your day, or if you're
  • 12:51feeling a little stressed or
  • 12:54you feel your energies a
  • 12:56little blocked or congestive
  • 12:58take time for this self care,
  • 13:00healing touch guided meditation.
  • 13:02To balance, connect in. Open
  • 13:05all of your energy centers,
  • 13:07so I thank you for your attention.
