Biography

Ricardo Albarran, MPH worked as a Graduate Research Assistant for the ESTEEM Research Group from 2016 to 2018. Ricardo has extensive experience managing and evaluating HIV/STI prevention programs within community-based organizations, city and state health departments, and national organizations. Most recently, Ricardo completed an Evaluation Fellowship in the Division of STD Prevention at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Ricardo’s work has centered on advancing the health and well-being of the LGBTQ+ community and plans to continue this work back home in Chicago, IL. Ricardo received his Master of Public Health from the Yale School of Public Health and Bachelor of Science in Community Health from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
