  • Lesbian Health Fund
    The mission of the Lesbian Health Fund is to improve the health of lesbians and other sexual minority women and their families through research.
  • APA Division 44
    Division 44 is the American Psychological Association's Society for the Psychological Study of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Issues. A number of awards are available to individuals whose work enlarges the scope of psychology's understanding of the needs of sexual minority individuals and communities.
  • NIH Sexual & Gender Minority Research Office
    The Sexual and Gender Minority Research Office coordinates sexual and gender minority-related research and activities by working directly with the NIH Institutes, Centers, and Offices. “Sexual and gender minority” is an umbrella phrase that encompasses lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender populations as well as those whose sexual orientation, gender identity and expressions, or reproductive development varies from traditional, societal, cultural, or physiological norms.

  • Williams Institute Small Research Grants
    The Williams Institute’s Small Research Grants program is designed to encourage new empirical research focused on the LGBTQI+ population. Applicants from a variety of disciplinary backgrounds, including social sciences (e.g., economics, sociology, demography, social psychology), law, public health, and public policy are encouraged to apply. An important objective of this funding is to encourage new scholars to enter LGBTQI+ research areas.
