Joe El-Khoury, PhD, professor of laboratory medicine, has been appointed as editor-in-chief of Clinical Biochemistry, effective January 1, 2027. Clinical Biochemistry is the official journal of the Canadian Society of Clinical Chemists; it publishes articles relating to clinical chemistry, molecular biology and genetics, therapeutic drug monitoring and toxicology, laboratory immunology, and laboratory medicine in general. El-Khoury is also director of the Clinical Chemistry Laboratory and the Clinical Chemistry Fellowship Program at Yale New Haven Health.
