Our research focuses on systems biology of cancer and other fundamental problems of medicine. Currently, the lab seeks global understanding of the genetic and epigenetic bases of cancer progression and immunity. We use an open set of modern tools including large-scale computation, high-throughput screening, genomics, in vivo CRISPR/Cas9-mediated genome editing, bioengineering, live imaging, animal models, and human genetics. Our goal is to achieve novel and systematic insights into cancer evolution for development of personalized therapeutics in the era of precision medicine.
