Biography

Sophie graduated from Skidmore College in 2022 with a B.A. in Neuroscience and Psychology. At Skidmore, she conducted research in the Language and Social Development Lab and completed a senior thesis on the intuitiveness of abstract concepts and infinity. Sophie also participated a clinical internship with the Canisius Institute for Autism Research, where she worked as a research clinician in an intensive behavioral treatment program for children with ASD. Currently, Sophie is the Data Acquisition and Analytic Core Sara S. Sparrow Fellow in Clinical Neuroscience in the McPartland Lab. She is passionate about developing scientifically backed techniques for supporting neurodiverse populations. In the future, Sophie hopes to attend graduate school for clinical psychology and become a pediatric clinical neuropsychologist.
