Undergraduate Student Receives Summer Research Grant from the Autism Science Foundation

Sam Tomlinson has been awarded an Autism Science Foundation Undergraduate Summer Research Award to study in the McPartland Lab. Sam is a third year student majoring in Neuroscience at Swarthmore College. He is interested in identifying similarities in both the etiology and symptomatology of various neurological conditions using tools from cognitive neuroscience and clinical neurology. His research will explore the developmental time course and neural basis of social difficulties in ASD, and he will apply his expertise in oscillatory EEG analysis to analyze resting state brain activity in children with ASD.
