Register for the Yale Lifesciences Pitchfest, to Be Held on Dec. 6

November 25, 2019

Yale Lifesciences Pitchfest is a full day where you can see the top 32 biotech opportunities spinning out of Yale University.

It will be held on Friday, December 6, 2019, at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, 100 College Street, New Haven, from 9 a.m to 4 p.m. with registration starting at 8 a.m. A reception and awards will follow.

This is the premier biotech business development event of the year at Yale - our “most investable” ideas will be presented in a Shark Tank style pitch competition to pharmaceutical representatives, venture capital firms, angel investors, and entrepreneurs. Here’s who is pitching.

Last year we had nearly 400 attendees. Check out the video from last year’s event.

Most major pharmas and east coast VCs will be represented.

Yale Lifesciences Pitchfest is presented by the Blavatnik Fund for Innovation at Yale. The Blavatnik Fund helps to accelerate the development of important early-stage discoveries in the life sciences into medical or commercial applications by awarding pilot grants to support exploratory and proof-of-concept activities, as well as larger development grants for more established projects.

The 32 presenting investigators are semifinalists in the annual funding competition.

Over its first 3 years, the fund has made 21 awards to promising Yale projects totaling $5 million.
