Building Global Capacity
- Yale University and its faculty have collaborated for over 150 years with institutions and individuals in China, and the YSPH has worked collaboratively in China since 1989. Since 1999, the Yale training program in China has been carried out with the National Center for AIDS/STD Control and Prevention at the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (China CDC) and UCLA.
- Since 2013, the Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences (KGUMSB) and the Yale School of Public Health (YSPH) have collaborated to support and promote education and research opportunities for faculty, staff and students at the two academic institutions. Since the inception of this initiative in 2013, the Bhutan Foundation has been instrumental in fostering collaboration and providing funding aimed at enhancing public health research, training and program development at KGUMSB.
