Using UKB, TOPMED and other large cohorts, we are investigating both CHIP and novel somatic variants and their associations with cardiovascular outcomes.

Using proteomics, we are profiling serum proteins, cytokines that are associated with CHIP/novel somatic variants and correlating with outcomes

Cardiac MRI is being used to evaluate tissue characterization of patients with and without CHIP/novel somatic variants and AI/ML techniques are being employed to investigate imaging features associated with CHIP. Genomic and imaging signatures are being used to assess for associated cardiovascular outcomes using large databases like UKB, TOPMed and AllofUs.
