Yuki Yasumoto, MD, PhD

Yuki Yasumoto received her M.D.,Ph.D, 2016 in Japan. She joined Yale University (USA) as a postdoc of Comparative Medicine department in 2018. Yuki's research interests are to clarify the role of neuroendocrine regulation of homeostasis from the aspect of glia and neuron-glia relationships. Her long-term research interests involve the development of a comprehensive understanding of key glial lipid metabolic pathways and how the dynamics of glial cell metabolism alters systematic metabolism and cause diseases.
