Greif Receives Five-Year Award from the American Heart Association

The American Heart Association (AHA) announced the 2019 recipients of the Established Investigator Award on April 1. A total of $399,960 will be awarded to Daniel Greif, MD, to study the mechanisms of reverse vascular remodeling in pulmonary hypertension. The five-year AHA grant supports mid-career professionals with a demonstrated expertise in cardiovascular or cerebrovascular science.

Greif leads a team of scientists at the Greif Lab, which uses mice models and human samples to investigate the development and disease of the cardiovascular and pulmonary systems. His team aims to turn these insights into novel therapies.
