Brynn Sherman

Biography

Brynn was a PhD student in the psychology department, where she worked primarily with Nick Turk-Browne. Brynn is interested in how we extract regularities from our environment (via statistical learning), and how such learning shapes the way in which we remember those experiences (via episodic memory). She is now a postdoctoral fellow at U Penn working with Anna Schapiro.

In the CAMS lab, Brynn examined how acute stress differentially influences statistical learning and episodic memory. Before Yale, Brynn was an undergraduate and subsequently a lab manager at NYU, where she worked in Lila Davachi's lab and studied how we perceive and remember time.
