Opportunities
The Gallagher Lab has a strong and supportive environment for training at all levels. We strive for the highest standards of scientific excellence and value creativity, camaraderie, and collaboration. We welcome like-minded individuals to join us.
Training opportunities
- Postdoctoral Training: PhD and MD postdoctoral associates interested in molecular hematology, genetics, or the molecular basis of inherited and acquired disease are welcome to apply, especially those with interest in developing an independent research program. Most postdoctoral trainees apply for fellowship support
- Dissertation Research: We welcome graduate students interested in doing a rotation in the lab.
- Undergraduate Research: The laboratory hosts Yale University students for research during the academic year and in the summer months. Students from other universities are hosted through the Yale NIDDK-supported summer research program.
- Internships: Opportunities for summer research for high school students are available through the Yale Summer High School Program.
