Carlos Mena-Hurtado, MD, is an associate professor of medicine at Yale School of Medicine. He directs the Peripheral Vascular Disease Program and co-directs the Vascular Medicine Outcomes (VAMOS) research program with Kim G. Smolderen, PhD, which provides evidence-based shared treatment decisions for patients with PAD. His research focuses on the outcomes of cardiovascular interventions, and treatments for carotid stenosis and limb ischemia.
