Biography

Dragomir Milovanovic is the HFSP Postdoctoral Fellow in Neuroscience at the Yale University School of Medicine. Drago's background is in the membrane biochemistry, membrane trafficking, and synaptic transmission. During his PhD, he used a range of biochemical and biophysical methods to assess the interaction between proteins and lipids of the presynaptic membrane. For his postdoctoral training, Drago joined the lab of Pietro De Camilli to expend his skills in neuronal cell biology. Here, he is focusing on understanding the dynamics and organization of synaptic vesicle clusters at the nerve terminal.
