Harvanek Selected for ACLP William Webb Fellowship Program

November 03, 2022

The Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry (ACLP) has selected Zachary Harvanek, MD, PhD, for its 2022-23 William Webb Fellowship Program.

The program supports outstanding advanced residents and fellows in consultation-liaison psychiatry at an early stage in their career. It fosters career development and leadership potential through mentorship, networking, sustained involvement in ACLP projects, and collegial interactions through exclusive fellowship educational experiences.

Harvanek is a consultation-liaison psychiatry fellow at Yale School of Medicine and a graduate of the Yale Psychiatry Residency Program. His primary areas of interest are understanding the mechanisms through which psychological stress and resiliency influence long-term physical health and aging. This includes more global indices of physical health (e.g., epigenetic aging), as well as specific aspects of health such as chronic pain.
