Dr. Lieping Chen, the United Technologies Corporation Professor in Cancer Research and Professor of Immunobiology, of Dermatology and of Medicine (Medical Oncology) and Co-Director of the Cancer Immunology Program at Yale Cancer Center, is a pioneer in the field of immuno-oncology and his discoveries have led to life-saving drugs for cancer patients. Now, with the support of the Yale Office of Cooperative Research, Dr. Chen has launched a startup—NextCure—that is poised to lead to even more breakthrough treatments.
