Joseph Ribaudo

I am a junior at Yale College studying molecular, cellular, developmental biology. I am from Long Island, NY and I graduated from Kings Park High School in 2017. I conducted research in Parkinson's disease (PD) during the summer of 2016 and that sparked my interest in neurological diseases. There, I analyzed open field data from a rat model of PD using three novel approaches to determine the effect of sex hormones on cognitive rigidity and its implications in PD diagnostics in humans. Since then, my research and academic interest has grown from general biology to neurodegenerative diseases, which has guided my academia and research in college.
