Chenyang graduated with honors from UCLA with a Bachelor degree in Neuroscience and a minor in Asian Language Studies. During his undergraduate years, he conducted his independent research under the supervision of Dr. Ladan Shams in the Multisensory Perception Lab and worked with Dr. Liz Carter on racial discourse studies. His departmental thesis focused on the subliminal effects of audio-visual temporal congruency on affective judgment of sensory stimuli. Chenyang is currently a postgraduate associate in the Anticevic Lab.
