Pedersen Honored With Linda K. Lorimer Award for Distinguished Service at Yale
Kyle Pedersen, MAR, a 21-year employee of the Connecticut Mental Health Center (CMHC) who has made significant contributions to the Yale Department of Psychiatry and Greater New Haven community, has been honored with the Linda K. Lorimer Award for Distinguished Service at Yale.
Krystal Is Recipient of 2023 Rhoda and Bernard Sarnat International Prize in Mental Health
John H. Krystal, MD, Robert L. McNeil, Jr. Professor of Translational Research and Professor of Psychiatry, of Neuroscience, and of Psychology, and chair of the Yale Department of Psychiatry, has been named recipient of the 2023 Rhoda and Bernard Sarnat International Prize in Mental Health by the National Academy of Medicine (NAM).
Huckins to Receive 2023 International Society of Psychiatric Genetics Theodore Reich Early Career Award
Laura Huckins, PhD, associate professor of psychiatry, has been awarded the 2023 International Society of Psychiatric Genetics (ISPG) Theodore Reich Early Career Award. Huckins was selected for the award based on her published work describing the genetic underpinnings of eating disorders and PTSD as well as for her service to the psychiatric genetics community.
Christine Gummerson, MD Honored as Consultant of the Year
The Department of Emergency Medicine has honored Christine Gummerson, MD, a PGY4 resident in the Department of Neurology, with the Consultant of the Year Award.
