Symposium on Cellular and Metabolic Pathways in Neurodegeneration

Thank you for your interest for the Symposium on Cellular and Metabolic Pathways in Neurodegeneration, held on March 23rd, 2022 and funded by Chan-Zuckerberg Institute (CZI).

This event aims to foster a community environment for the discussion of neurodegeneration research amongst early career researchers (ECRs) in the Connecticut area. This will be a one-day hybrid symposium to showcase outstanding work from local ECRs with a Keynote Speech by Dr. Pallavi Gopal from the Department of Pathology at Yale School of Medicine followed by a happy hour.

Presenters will be chosen from submitted abstracts (see Google form). Selected speakers will be given 20 minutes for a presentation either in person or online. The hybrid nature of the symposium is due to uncertainty from COVID-19 and subject to change per Yale and State of Connecticut guidelines for in-person events. The symposium organizers will be coordinating with all attendees regarding in-person (limited) versus online presentations/attendance. All speakers will receive a swag.
