The mission of the Office of Communications is to inform and inspire the world by representing Yale School of Medicine and its achievements in a distinctive, relevant, and unified manner—and to empower our community to join us in this mission.
We support a variety of institutional initiatives and events, including print and electronic publishing, multimedia production, management of the school’s social media channels, communications from the Dean’s Office, and institutional web planning, including the development of the medical school website and template design as a platform for both information and operations.
The office produces:
- Yale Medicine Magazine
- The bimonthly newsletter Medicine@Yale
- Web content for Yale Medicine, the School of Medicine’s clinical practice
- The Weekly Digest of events and announcements, delivered by email on Friday mornings
- The student-edited Yale Journal of Biology and Medicine
We are also responsible for all YSM web sites and social media channels.
