Overview

The field of endoscopy has rapidly evolved with the introduction of innovative diagnostic techniques and novel therapies. The endoscopist frequently encounters difficult issues and controversies in patient management. “The Endoscopy Course” is designed to take a case-based approach to understand the current role of endoscopy in the care of patients with a variety of gastrointestinal diseases. Numerous challenging topics will be explored, including the basics of endoscopy, innovations in upper and lower GI disorders, gastrointestinal bleeding, and pancreas and biliary tract disorders.

In addition, this year’s course will feature lectures on new endoscopic interventions, the application of artificial intelligence to endoscopy, and tips and tricks to pass the GI boards. This unique educational symposium will include case studies and a debate between the Harvard and Yale faculty on an area of endoscopic controversy. This program is designed for practicing gastroenterologists, gastroenterology fellows, nurses, advanced practice providers interested in the care of patients with gastrointestinal diseases and the latest information on state of the art of endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of these illnesses.
