Biography

Maor Sauler has been a member of the Pulmonary & Critical Care faculty since 2014. Dr. Sauler specializes in adult critical care including acute lung injury and sepsis. He also sees patients in the outpatient setting with pulmonary diseases. Dr. Sauler is board-certified in internal medicine and pulmonary medicine.

Dr. Sauler earned his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and received his MD from Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Sauler then completed both an internship and residency in internal medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He went on to complete fellowship training in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Yale-School of Medicine.

Dr. Sauler's research is focused on translating an understanding of aging biology into a better understanding chronic lung diseases. His research endeavors have resulted in numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications. He has received research awards from the National Institute of Health, American Physiology Society, American Lung Association, Parker B. Francis Foundation, Flight Attendant Medical Research Institute, and Respiratory Disease Young Investigators' Forum.
