The integration of the Section’s ambulatory pulmonary specialty centers with our multifaceted research laboratories provides a rich landscape for delivering and developing state of the art treatments, including a wide array of clinical trials. Our nationally and internationally recognized faculty actively contributes to bringing scientific discoveries from the bench to the bedside, engaging in a broad spectrum of dynamic investigational efforts. The 19 fellows in our ACGME-accredited program train in one of the largest tertiary care hospitals in the country, with access to a multitude of research opportunities. The depth and breadth of our clinical programs and laboratories reflect the commitment of our 39 full-time faculty to improving patient care and advancing knowledge in all aspects of pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine.
