Biography
Reger Mikaeel is a Postdoctoral Associate at the Yale School of Medicine. He was awarded his Ph.D., from The University of Adelaide in Australia in 2022, for his thesis entitled " Towards an Understanding of the Growing Incidence of Colorectal Cancer and Appendiceal Neoplasms in Young Adults". His thesis was composed of six manuscripts published in peer-reviewed journals. The main emphasis of his current research is to identify key driver genes and drug sensitivities of a previously uncharacterized CRC subtype that is overexpressed in African American CRC.
