Juliette Spelman completed a bachelor of science in chemistry at Yale University. She received her MD from NYU, and completed both her residency and chief residency at Yale New Haven Hospital. She currently works as a clinician educator at the West Haven VA hospital, and has a particular interest in the care of Veterans returning from the recent conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. Her academic work focuses on improving quality of care to the Veteran population, including QI work in opioid safety and overdose prevention.
