Biography
Dr. Jiang Long is a psychiatrist researcher focused on addiction medicine and public mental health. He received his Ph.D. from Central South University (WHO Collaborating Centre for Psychosocial Factors, Substance Abuse and Health) in 2018 with joint training at the Université Catholique de Louvain in Belgium, in Psychiatry and Mental Health. Dr. Long served as a full-time consultant at the WHO Department of Mental Health and Substance Use (2019-2020) and a detailed program officer at the National Health Commission of China (2020-2021). He has become increasingly engaged in dissemination and implementation science. He has been a member of the WHO Expert Working Group on Disorder due to Addictive Behaviours since 2019. He holds committee membership in several academic associations, including the International Society of Addiction Medicine (ISAM) and the China Association of Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment (CADAPT).
