Imtiaz Ebna Mannan

Imtiaz Ebna Mannan earned his MS in Statistics from the University of South Carolina (UofSC). In his MS program, he worked on the comparison of inference methods in high-dimensional linear regression for his thesis. Before joining UofSC, he earned his BS and MS from the University of Dhaka. While studying Statistics, Imtiaz had been involved in projects on repeated measures experimental design, penalized and robust regression, artificial neural networks, time series, and visualization. During his graduate studies at UofSC, he worked as a research and teaching assistant. Imtiaz is enthusiastic and appreciative of the art of storytelling using data visualization. His expertise lies in using R, SAS, Python, and Tableau. As a part of CORE analyst team, he uses his curiosity and tenacity to help unearth significant facts about healthcare and aspires to make people’s lives better by inflicting policy changes. Imtiaz is fond of sci-fi stories/movies/shows and is an admirer of Isaac Asimov’s works.
