November 15, 2022

Arianna Fuentes, Clinical Coordinator for Clinical Affairs (Internal Medicine)

Why did you decide to work at Yale School of Medicine (YSM)?

Yale's organization is well known for its unmatched level of professionalism and growth opportunities. I was thrilled to decide to work for this company because I knew it was right for me.

Have you been involved in any projects of which you are particularly proud?

Yes, our onboarding for our chief resident orientation overview presentation.

Going forward, what do you look forward to most?

Continuing to be a part of such a positive growing team as well and seeing where it will take us! Our collaborative, team-focused culture has given me the opportunity to learn and grow my skills.

What do you love about your career and working at Yale?

I love welcoming our providers with open arms as well as being part of their credentialing process so they are able to see and treat patients. I love working at Yale for several reasons. Yale's diversity and flexibility are incomparable. Yale holds a great work-life balance, company culture, great expectations, and goal-oriented leadership.

What is the most rewarding part of your work?

It is very fulfilling being able to get our providers through their credentialing process, so they are able to perform and do what they love at Yale. Sometimes, it's the little things that you do for your department and team of providers that make a difference.

What is a fun fact about you or favorite past time?

I have a coffee obsession and I like to work out at 5 a.m. so I have a complete hour of "me time."

One piece of advice you will never forget?

Frame painful experiences as lessons, on how to be stronger and how to better navigate bad situations.
