Barbara and Timothy Boroughs have given consistently and generously to the Department of Internal Medicine over the past four years, recently augmenting their contributions to two funds they established – one supporting Internal Medicine’s Traditional Residency Program, led by Mark Siegel, MD, professor of medicine (pulmonary); and the other supporting education in pulmonary medicine. Their gifts, amplified through corporate matching, are enabling a wide range of education and training activities within the department. We are immensely grateful for the support they have provided, which was inspired by the outstanding care their son received at Yale from Siegel and a desire to help future leaders in internal medicine.
