Dr Namrata Krishnan, MD is a graduate of Lady Hardinge Medical School in New Delhi, India. She completed her M.B.B.S in December 2000. She scored the highest ranking as a final year medical student and won numerous awards for her outstanding academic achievements. She did her Internal Medicine Residency at University of Connecticut Medical Center and subsequently did her Nephrology fellowship training at Washington University Medical Center/ Barnes Jewish Hospital, St Louis, MO from 2005-2007. She joined University of Massachsetts Medical center in 2007 as faculty where she focused on general and transplant nephrology. She went on to join Yale School of Medicine in the year 2010. She currently works as faculty in the Renal section at Yale, and is based at the VA hospital in West haven, CT. Her interests include dialysis, renal stones, hypertension and transplant nephrology. She is also the Yale nephrology fellowship site director at the VA.
