Biography

Since moving to New Haven in 2008, Ms. Greene has been involved in public health and civic activities.She served on the West River Neighborhood Services Corp. Board (2010 to 2012) and the New Haven Urban Design League Board (2009 to 2014).Currently she serves on the Southern Connecticut State University's Community Alliance for Research and Engagement (CARE) Steering Committee, and is the Community Research Liaison for the National Clinician Scholars Program. As the Liaison, she supports the Scholars’ community-based participatory research (CBPR), and develops training and curriculum for the CBPR portion of the Program. She is studying at Southern Connecticut State University towards certification in Elementary Education. In 2014, Ms. Greene was awarded The Ira V. Hiscock Award by the Connecticut Public Health Association.
